Cell: The Unit of Life — NEET MCQs with answers
The cell is the basic structural and functional unit of all living organisms, as established by the cell theory. Cells are classified as prokaryotic (lacking a membrane-bound nucleus and organelles) or eukaryotic, and a typical eukaryotic cell has a plasma membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus and various membrane-bound organelles. Each organelle performs a specific function in the cell's organisation.
